Muddy footprints and wet umbrellas turn entrance floors into a slip hazard almost every day during monsoon. We recommend increasing entrance-area mopping frequency and placing absorbent mats that get changed or cleaned daily rather than weekly.

2. Carpets and Upholstery Trap Moisture

Damp carpets that don't dry properly develop a musty smell within days and can become a mould risk within weeks. During monsoon, carpeted areas need faster-drying cleaning methods and better ventilation immediately after cleaning — not the same schedule used in dry months.

3. Humidity Encourages Odour in Washrooms and Pantries

Higher ambient humidity means washroom and pantry odours build up faster than in winter. More frequent sanitisation and better exhaust-fan maintenance make a noticeable difference during these months.

4. AC and Vent Cleaning Becomes More Important, Not Less

It's tempting to assume AC vents need less attention when it's raining outside, but humidity actually increases the risk of mould forming in vents and ducts that stay damp. Monsoon is a good time to schedule a vent inspection and clean, not skip one.

5. Glass and Facade Cleaning Gets Trickier

Rain streaks glass in ways that plain water-wiping doesn't fully remove, leaving a hazy film once the glass dries. Facade and window cleaning during monsoon benefits from proper squeegee techniques and the right cleaning agents, not just a quick wipe.
